The greatest BJJ Academy in Toronto! on Twitpic

I'm literally like a pressure cooker right now just waiting to explode. I'm so excited for the next 2 weeks of training.

For a few reasons I would like to share with you...

 Something has changed recently rolling...I can best describe it as sinking into a new gear when driving.

I've felt, for a while now, that 2010 is going to be a good year for me. Mostly becuase I have a weird thing about the Number 3 being my ruling number and this year I turn 33. So all the planets should be aligned.

It's started to feel like I have been absorbing good energy recently and hopefully putting some good energy out. Maybe 2010 is just a placebo effect for me. But if I relate this good feeling to my jiu jitsu I have to say I feel much better on the mat now too and am getting the nod from the higher belts when we roll.

I want to turn it up a gear now. I feel I can roll in the same fashion...methodical...but just at a higher speed while being more relaxed and put more pressure on my opponent...it's been working out well and I have also been able to control my breathing alot better which enables me to hold my own better.

So that is Reason #1 - just a 'good feeling'

Reason #2 is Saulo Ribeiro for the next 2 weeks at Toronto BJJ {more}

Reason #3 is Cobrinha's Seminar in my neighbourhood {more}

Reason #4 is the Abu Dhabi Trials. {more}

"If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them."

Bruce Lee baby!
