On Saturday March 6th at the prestigious Pierre Charboneau center, the Canadian North American qualifiers will feature competitors from all across North America, vying for a chance at the all expenses paid trip to the world championships. This event will be broadcasted LIVE FREE on the internet and will truely be one of Canadas most memorable jiu-jitsu competitions

This event will be at the Pierre Charbonneau Center.3000 rue Viau. Montréal , H1V 3J3 Métro Viau

The Abu Dhabi Pro Jiu-jitsu Championship is considered to be one of the most prestigious Jiu-jtisu competitions in the world.With qualifiers worldwide, the tournament seeks to determine who are the true best in the sport of brazillian jiu-jitsu. This competition is the product of Black Belt Carlos Santos and is under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammad Binz Zayed Al Nahyan.

Last years world championships, saw some of the best in the world of brazillian jiu-jitsu compete in the United Arab Emirates for the world title. In the end, Tarsis Humphreys reigned the absolute champion! Who will take the title this year? One of the stops in the road to this title is in Montreal, Quebec Canada. Men’s Experience Divisions

- Category A-WHITE BELT
- Category B-BLUE BELT
- Category C-PURPLE,BROWN and BLACK BELT

Women’s Experience Divisions-All Belts Together

Men’s Weight Divisions (Category A or B):

- 139lbs & Less
- 150 lbs & Less
- 161 lbs & Less
- 172 lbs & Less
- 183 lbs & Less
- 194 lbs & Less
- 205 lbs & Less
- 216 lbs & Less
- 216 lbs and Up

Absolute Division 1:
- 161 lbs and Below (This is combined with White and Blue belts and the winner receives the trip to the Abu Dhabi Pro World Championships)

Absolute Division 2:
- 162 lbs and Above (This is combined with White and Blue belts and the winner receives the trip to the Abu Dhabi Pro World Championships)

Men’s Weight Divisions (Category C-Purple/Brown/Black)

- 143 lbs and Less- Winner receives the trip to the Abu Dhabi Pro World Championships
- 163 lbs and Less- Winner receives the trip to the Abu Dhabi Pro World Championships
- 183 lbs and Less-Winner receives the trip to the Abu Dhabi Pro World Championships
- 203 lbs and Less- Winner receives the trip to the Abu Dhabi Pro World Championships
- 203 lbs and more-Winner receives the trip to the Abu Dhabi Pro World Championships

Women’s Weight Divisions (All Belts Combined)

- 138.5 lbs and Less- Winner receives the trip to the Abu Dhabi Pro World Championships
- 139 lbs and up- Winner receives the trip to the Abu Dhabi Pro World Championships

**There has been a couple additions and changes to the upcoming Canadian trials.**

This year, the White and Blue belts will have their own divisions.Category A-WHITE BELT and Category B-BLUE BELT.

However, for the two absolute divisions, the White and Blue belts will be combined.

The winners of the combined Absolute divisions will receive the all expense paid trip to the World Championships in Abu Dhabi.

After many requests, the female divisions have been added. There will be two divisions and each winner will be receiving the all expense paid trip to the World Championships in Abu Dhabi.
