I had heard that Cobrinha was in Hamilton at Jeff Joslin's in January but I paid no attention to it as I knew I would likely not get a ride but man - it would have been a great experience to learn from this Elite BJJ Player.

I just got a tweet from @icompete about the seminars but was surprised when I clicked the link for 2 reasons.

1. This link was for 2 Seminars taking place 2 blocks from my apartment.

2. There is an MMA/ Wrestling Club in my hood...and I had no idea. I thought it was just a kids wrestling club...apparently not...Click here for info on 'TakeDown MMA'

So in January I will be trained by not only Saulo Ribeiro and possibly Regis Lebre - I also am fortunate to be able to spend a some of my Xmas Money and Learn from one of the Worlds greatest BJJ (featherweight) competitors. 2010 will be off to an amazing start!

The cost is $100 for 1 day and $150 for 2 days. January 9th will be Gi from 12-2:30pm and January 10th No Gi from 12-2:30pm. Both days will also include rolling time with Cobrinha and a Q and A.
