Felipe Costa from BRASA is a BJJ player that I feel a connection to. A humble Black Belt who has revealed his return to competition through his Youtube Documentary '30+" and who claims to be a regular guy working hard.
What makes his story unique to me was his rise through the ranks, his late blooming in tournaments and his work teaching JiuJitsu to Blind Kids in Rio.
We get some glimpses about all of these stories through his 30+ series but I wanted to scratch a little deeper and find out a little more about Felipe and get his thoughts on some topics that readers of this Journal might enjoy (including competing, injuries, green belts, Tererê and alot more. And Lemon Pie.
The interview lasted around 45 minutes and I have made it into 4 parts for you to enjoy at your own time.
I'd like to thank Felipe for taking the time to speak with me - and I hope you enjoy our conversation..Look for him on Twitter, Facebook or Check his website
