The Dojo's silent call to training. In the same way Church Bells call followers to worship - you may not hear the sound of them ringing but you get the signal loud and clear.

No matter what day it is - I hear the call. It's not a real noise but it's there. A gut feeling.

Calling me to come to the dojo and study. Everyday.

Actually - it's also like an invisible 'Bat Signal'.

Here I am fighting off an evening nap then all of a sudden I am doing the warm up for class. Happily knowing there is nowhere else I would rather be than at the Academy on the mats taking it all in. Days when I have promised myself rest..weekends and now some mornings. those bells are always ringing.

It doesnt matter how I feel coming home from work I know that if I miss the 7pm class for sure I will be there for the 8pm class. Because as soon as 7pm comes around I'm already packing my bag because I know I am missing something.

Why is BJJ so addictive? Have a read of this article from a few months ago..."Why BJJ is Addicting, Maslov and the Hierarchy of Needs, and the Jiu-Jitsu Journey"
