Jorge Britto to defend his CCF Lightweight Title under 'Pride' rules

TTT FRIDAY - Originally posted Tuesday, 02 February.

CCF 5, where Jorge is defending his Lightweight Belt, is Saturday Feb 27th!

Kicks to the head are in - elbows are out - and Jorge Britto can wear his Gi.

Those are just some of the rule changes that will impact Toronto BJJ's Head instructor when he defends his belt in Edmonton.

The Ironic thing is Jorge lost a fight last year in Edmonton - the result of an illegal upkick. Had these Pride rules been in place - it would have been game on.

Jorge will face Josh Kyrejto and battle at 161lbs (not 155). Watch this interview with Josh at the CCF V Press conference and hear what he has to say about fighting for the title against the Royler Gracie Black belt and under modified rules.

Who have you got?

wow, what a boring interview, however I do appreciate that Josh was very humble and not a trash talker!
