Getting excited for this weekend!!

I am heading to my first MMA event in Montreal and what makes it even sweeter is that I get to see my Jiu Jitsu Teacher compete in the cage.

There are several cars heading to "Judgement Day by Warrior One MMA" from Toronto BJJ including a van of 7 which I am jumping in.

Professor Britto *was* meant to be fighting a Jiu Jitsu fighter named Eddie Fyvie who is a Ricardo Almeida Black Belt. He finishes fights by submissions so that was going to be terrific. But he had to pull out and the new opponent is a guy from Alberta called Ryan Machan so it's a bit of a shame we will not see the possible ground battle that would have taken place. Hopefully Machan is up for a war but Jorge tends to finish his Canadian opponents in the first round - fast.
