My friends - I am very proud to say I hit that milestone of becoming a Purple Belt on 3rd December 2011 - 4.5 years after walking through the doors of Toronto BJJ. It was an honour to be in the presence of all my team mates at our 3rd Annual In House Tournament and Promotions and to be recieve my new belt from Professor Britto - who I have been studying under for just under 4 years. It's my team mates who make the big difference. Without good team mates and good teachers I would not be where I am so I want to say a huge thankyou to everyone for being there for me and for pushing me. I just keep showing up - keep working as hard as I can - and keep throwing my name in to compete but the real game changer is the blessing I get to attend such a great school with such amazing people and teachers that are exceptional. I want to thank God for all the opportunities I get and I am so stoked for 2012. |
