Reevo Gi Review
On the Mat - Gi / Kimono's
Wednesday, 25 November 2009 00:26

I originally wrote about this Gi after having worn the Blue 'Evolve' Gi for almost a year. I love this GI and the ironic thing is - it's the cheapest Gi I have bought at $60 at CopaOntario.

It's single weave - been brilliant during the summer when rolling in 90degrees

The pants are a little small but I have long legs - but the good thing is that makes gripping them pretty difficult...and it's very comfortable.

I then went ahead, after a website reader recommended this Ebay Seller, and grabbed another Reevo Gi - this time the white one. For $65 I think you can't be bad for that.

This time the pants are longer and heavier and the Top is the same as the blue Gi - again very light. I have already worn it in Competition.

I know Jiu Jitsu players don't rate this GI but I really enjoy it and always turn to it first. If you want a heavy Judo type GI this is not your Kimono.

A website member contacted me to recommend this seller on ebay who has Reevo Gi's.

He ordered and received his Gi and is really happy so I have done the same. Total cost including shipping = $67CDN - you really can't beat that!

So I will Blame Canada post for messing up the 1st Shipment.

I got my GI - It fits great. It's very lightweight. The pants seem a little big but I think they will shrink...and they do still fit...

Even though I had to pay extra for a re-postage fee - I still would say I saved money.

As for the seller - He is a Power seller and I was talking to him over the long weekend which might have controbuted to the lack of responses..

I will probably buy another Gi from this guy - $65 all in? You really cannot be bad for that...

I wear a Reevo Gi (Omo Plata)...I have a blue one that I have worn in competition...it has even held up to all the "gripping and grabbing" of Judo randori...I highly recommend this gi..Why pay an arm and a leg for a name brand gi when you can get one just as good for under $100 USD...I just ordered a white competition cut Omo plata

I have a reevo omoplata. its quality is unbelivable. feels good also. I'm 6'1" and 84kgs and I bought the A4. It was way too big for me I had to have it trimmed down. Now the gi is perfect and I love it.
