Rener Gracie with jujitsu studentsRecently on ScottOnTheNet I jumped on Rener Gracie's bandwagon. The aim was to get the Gracie Academies 'BulleyProof' concept it's own reality TV show on Oprah's Network. Unfortunately there was a mix up and Rener pulled out of the contest. But this week Oprah.com has a 4 page spread featuring the martial arts program Rener and his brother promote (which includes home study DVD's and academy training).

The article details the case of a child who used to be dragged around the floor by his legs by the school bully but really shows you how the problems many kids face at school can be overcome by training self defense (Jiu Jitsu) from a young age but in a way that is fun and builds confidence.

There is a brand new website online 'Graciekids.com' where you can watch videos and learn alot about the course - and if you want to check out the Oprah.com feature - you can read the full article here.
