A common occurrence for fighters is insomnia. Not sleeping means you show up for training tired and low on fuel. Even if you have trained for 2 hours in the day it can still be challenging to get to sleep. When you train at night your body and mind may still be very alert by the time you are trying to sleep and you end up watching the clock creep slowly towards the time when you are meant to be getting up. No fighter can achieve their full potential on the mats if the biological batteries cannot recharge themselves. Research shows 1 in 7 people suffer from Insomnia. I know from experience that feeling. But help is at hand - and it's 100% natural. After visiting my local health food shop I picked up a natural sleep aid called Ortho-Sleep that contains an ingredient list that guarantees sleep. The key ingredients are neurotransmitters (GABA and Melatonin) which are the key to sleep regulation and control the body's internal clock and mood balance. The herbs included like Valerian root and Passionflower promote calmness, relaxation and control anxiety. Theanine is a non essential amino acid (found in green tea) and also effects your brain waves to create calmness. The ingredients list in full: GABA (Gamma Aminobutyric Acid) ... 100mg Like anything of this nature you might want to consult with your doctor before using this as it is the strongest natural sleep aid on the market. Personally...I just went for it. Since I have been using Ortho-Sleep I can honestly say I have not suffered insomnia once. Sometimes I have very vivid dreams and on a couple of occasions I have been a little 'slow' in the morning ( the bottle says to not use machinery etc etc if using this sleep aid). It also warns against pregnant Mom's using it but this article is for fighters and I don't see too many pregnant ladies training on the tatami's. Check the website for full details on this product. I want you to have a good nights sleep, Player, so why not head to your local health food shop and pick up a bottle. It's helping me and some of my team mates and I bet it can help you too.
