It's going to be a long day at the tournament and you might have a long time to kill. I've been watching some BJJ Players habit's at tournaments and have started to compile this list of suggestions that might make your day in the bleachers and the Tatami's a little more comfortable.
'Be Prepared' as we say in Scouts.

Clothes

  • Sandals or flip flops - keep your feet clean until you get to fight
  • Hoodie - so you can brood or sweat it out
  • Academy T Shirt

Food

  • Salad mix - celery sticks, carrots, tomatoes and dip
  • Yogurt  - coats your stomach and makes you not feel hungry
  • Gatorade
  • Honey - take a spoonful after the fight
  • Water
  • Fruit - Bananas, melon chunks, honeydew
  • Apple Juice
  • Sandwiches
  • Soup in a thermos

Accessories

  • Mp3 Player
  • Towel
  • Smartphone - for facebook and twittering
  • Camera
  • Extra Batteries (if you don't need them a team mate will)
  • Book
  • Nail Clippers
  • Extra Tape
  • Facecloth

Please leave a comment if you have any ideas to share and I will add them to the list!
