I always wonder what the true pro's and con's of being a pot smoking jiu jitsu nerd are. Perhaps it helps relax you on the mat but that probably means slooooower to react.

I don't drink - I look at alcohol as poison and my body rejects it pretty fast too
There are people who like to 'sweat out the booze from last night on the mat' - but surely alcohol in your blood stream must take away from your cardio?? I simply could not drink and then train the next morning...it would be hell
with Pot...I know anything carcinogenic is bad for your cardio too but jiu jitsu is the gentle art and pot argueably makes some people more focused and (more creative?)
But are you being disrespectful to your team mates? Are you burning out on the mat?
It's a fine line I guess

It's really a lifestyle thing - but would it possibly prevent someone playing an offensive game instead of a defensive one...
I'm just wondering what people think about training 'under the influence'.. I know it happens...
Jiu Jitsu has helped me get to a place where weed is literally dropping off my radar...which is a good thing...
But...do you do it?
